Committee members present at the call to order were Representatives            
James and Croft and Senators Mackie and Wilken.  Representative                
Austerman and Senator Lincoln arrived as the meeting was in

REPRESENTATIVE JAMES discussed the committee's focus for the 1997              
session and asked the committee members for their comments.
